Best Bond Ever

I've seen all of the James Bond movies... in order. There are some great ones, some good ones, and many awful ones. Speaking from this history of knowledge I feel that I must speak regarding the newest Bond film.
I've seen the new James Bond (Casino Royale) 3 times now and I can say, without reservation, that it is the best of all 21 films. It is incredible. Somehow, they managed to strip away all of the bullshit but leave behind only those things that make James Bond so captivating.
Perfect.
That is all.

Shortcuts (Mac only)

I love shortcut keystrokes. The most recent one I have discovered is for iTunes. I hate it that I have to click the little green zoom button to shrink my iTunes window to just display current song info. Seth, I know you don't use that view but I'm sharing anyway. If you hit Ctrl + Cmd + Z it zooms the window. Brilliant!

My Whole World In Their Hands

Well, since this blog is now a first page result when you google my name (and destined to rise to the top), I figure it isn't a good idea to publicly insult all the people who I'll some day be asking for post docs. So, I've taken down the post I made yesterday.

By the way, as of today we're sitting at T - 7 days. For those of you who don't know, that T stands for trebuchet.

This one's for you Carrie

And for anyone else who has trouble rolling their R's.

In the meantime

As we all eagerly await the pictures of Jeff Albertson and the Caveman here's something to pass the time. It almost makes me want to change our plans for Colorado.

Well, I'm Sold

Really, what other explanation besides the existence of a kind, merciful and omnipotent creator could we come up with to explain why it is so easy to eat a banana?

(please note that these observations only apply to a "well made" banana)

Gold Farming

I love the blurring of the line between virtual and physical when economics are involved. I get a great kick when people sell items from online games in the real world for real money. It makes terms like "real world" and "real money" much more confusing. Its amazing how fast these markets are filled. Check out this article at BB. Gold farming, exploitive (because its China) but quite a line-blurring concept.

Behind the Times

I'm sure I'm behind the times here but some friends of mine played this song for me the other night and I wanted to share this flash animation with the world. Hopefully our fair readers are only getting their pop-culture access through us and, as a result, have not seen this previously. Here it is. Worth seeing The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny

I Didn't Get Any Email Today

This may seem presumptive but when I don't get any email in a day I automatically assume that the internet wasn't working. That's right I feel that the total collapse of the entire world wide web is more likely than my not getting any email in a day. Make of that what you will. Anyway, if I post to the blog then blogger sends me a notification of the post so this way I get email. All will be right again.
