Sure, you may chuckle now, but let's consider the long-term sci-fi consequences. (god i love hyphens.)
Wifi spreads everywhere. Internet devices become smaller and smaller. People already use google and wikipedia as an extension of their brains. You can already play rudimentary video games using brain sensors, so inputs into the browser is pretty much already as direct as it can be.
What I'm getting at is that we are getting pretty close to The Matrix, and you are totally missing out on your shot at getting hooked in. Take the blue pill while you still can!
Also, blogs are definitely social networking sites. If you don't think so, you probably haven't been reading enough blogs.
